Le Yack, Liberty Lost - Hand signed is a limited edition giclée on canvas, 40 x 40 cm, signed by the artist and sold directly by the artist from France, with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
In a frozen New York, a polar bear cautiously makes its way across the ice-covered waters of the Hudson, facing the Statue of Liberty, petrified by ice.
Le Yack evokes here the disappearance of humanity and nature’s revenge, in a striking image where the beauty of the composition contrasts with the gravity of the message.
The silence of the great, frozen metropolises becomes a metaphor for disarray, for time halted, and for the ineluctable cycle of life.
