Description from the seller
Carolina Livio, an illustrator and comic artist, was born in Cantù on August 9, 1990. After completing her academic studies at the School of Comics in Milan, she wholeheartedly dedicates herself to her greatest passion, drawing.
Her on-field experience began in 2012, thanks to her collaboration with Mondadori, where Carolina lent her hand in creating the Geronimo Stilton series, particularly the Laugh-Out-Loud Stories, the Great Classics, and the Tea Sisters. Thus, her career as a comic artist and illustrator started in Milan, later developing through collaborations with Disney, working on classic characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald Duck, and Daisy, and continuing with various other projects, from graphic design studios to communication agencies, and collaborations with small and large companies (for which she develops and creates graphic concepts).
from the catalog to the trade show stand.
After several years in Milanese, in 2018 Carolina moved to Vicentino and combined her graphic and artistic skills with those of designer Mauro Zolin, thus creating the Coltivi IDEA project, a 360-degree design studio (coltivi.it).
Alongside her career as an illustrator, Carolina creates works in acrylic on canvas, particularly indulging in large-scale paintings. The works are created on commission or inspired by the moment's inspiration and necessity.
"A Thousand Dots" is an abstract work composed of 1,000 colored dots arranged in an exploding grid pattern. What the dots aim to represent is the light that, through color, stands out in the darkness. The piece evokes a sense of movement: it is vibrant, both in form and in bright colors. Ideal for warming and making a modern space welcoming.
