Description from the seller
Oliver Jordan (born in 1958 in Essen, Germany) is a German painter known for his portraits, cityscapes, and expressive landscapes. He studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and opposed the idea that painting was 'dead' early in his career. His work is conceptually and technically layered, often with a strong materiality and rhythm.
This work is called 'For the blue hour' and comes from the series 'Blues for Dortmund'.
Dimensions with frame: 155 x 105 cm
Dimensions without frame: 142 x 92 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. Additionally, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we collaborate with restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you wish to make use of this service, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
