Andrea Krauß, Memory Room_49 *no reserve*, 2026, an original acrylic painting on wood in Minimalism style from Germany, 28 cm high by 14 cm wide, signed by the artist.
Description from the seller
Andrea Krauß works in a combination of acrylic painting and line drawing, with the lines drawn directly into the acrylic paint to form a sunken relief.
“Memory Room” is an abstract exploration of space and memory. The acrylic painting, enriched with a sand texture, gives the scene a tactile depth—as if the memory is anchored not only in lines and shapes but also in the surface itself. The sketch-like depiction makes the space appear fragmentary, as if reconstructed from memory. The soft, restrained colors amplify the sense of transience, while the open composition leaves room for personal associations. A quiet moment, making the ephemeral and at the same time enduring nature of memories palpable.
**The artwork at a glance:**
- from the series “Memory Rooms” – impressions of memory spaces in unique painting
- acrylic painting thickly applied with palette-knife texture - unique surface texture
- painted on high-quality wooden painting ground ready to hang
- signed on the back, numbered and with all image details provided
- shipping professionally packaged in bubble wrap
- certificate of authenticity included
Andrea Krauß, winner of the AOK Nordost, Berlin/Brandenburg Art Prize and fellow of the Lukas Art House in Ahrenshoop, is a graduate of the Braunschweig University of Art (HBK Braunschweig). She has been passionately involved with painting since her youth and now lives and works in a studio in the old Imperial Post Office in the heart of Berlin.
Her acrylic paintings, which focus on the beauty of nature, are inspired by her own memory but go beyond it. Her aim is to create an atmosphere through painting.
Her works are today part of numerous private collections and have been shown in galleries, museums, and prestigious art exhibitions.
