S.T. Dupont - Pharaoh - Lighter - Gold-plated

The Pharaoh Limited Edition series from S.T. Dupont resembles recently excavated artifacts from the tomb of King Tut. Pharaoh is the name of the kings of ancient Egypt. In fact, this name has only been in official use since the New Kingdom, especially the 18th Dynasty, but has become more common for the ancient Egyptian kings. In Egypt, the Pharaohs were the embodiment of supreme power on earth. They are known for their wealth, power and mysterious lives.
Egyptian history is an endless source of inspiration for works of art. People of different race or culture can’t help being attracted and enchanted by the pyramids, inside with treasures. And the hieroglyphic lines, although deciphered, are still full of mysteries. Ancient Egypt was also known as the Land of the Pharaohs. This is also the inspiration for the creation of the S.T. Pharaoh Limited Edition
This is a unique Dupont lighter model launched in 2004. S.T. Dupont has created a magical, faithful limited edition with a copy of the Egyptian code of the god Horus, symbolized by a crowned falcon. Isis and Nephtys are depicted around the holy scarf.
Each piece is crafted with guilloche patterning on gold plated finishes and detailed in red, black and blue Chinese lacquer, as well as a greenish-blue malachite. The carvings on the faces and cornices of the lighters and on the bodies and caps of the pens feature pictorials with hieroglyphic images symbolic of an Egyptian creation myth.
