The lighter is presented in very good overall condition, perfectly preserving its structure, aesthetics, and functionality. The gold finish with a guilloché pattern maintains an even and attractive shine, with a light and natural patina typical of use and the passage of time, in keeping with the model's age.

Superficial micro marks and light scuffs are visible only under close inspection, especially on edges and contact areas, with no dents, dings, or structural damage. The 20-micron gold plating is well preserved, with no significant losses or severe wear.

The mechanism works correctly: the lid opens and closes firmly, producing the characteristic 'cling' sound of S.T. Dupont, and the ignition is effective, with a stable flame after refilling. The wheel, the flint system and the flame regulator respond adequately.

Overall, it’s a very attractive item for collection or use, preserving the brand’s original character and quality, presented in an honest, well‑cared‑for state and fully in keeping with a vintage luxury item.
