The lighter is in good overall condition, with its structure, presence and function intact. The golden finish with geometric guilloché engraving of the diamond head type remains sharp, deep and uniform, offering a solid and attractive appearance characteristic of the Ligne 1 large-format model.

Normal signs of use are apparent, consisting of micro-scratches and light superficial scuffs visible mainly on edges, the base, and contact areas, in keeping with the model's age. The gold coating shows honest and regular wear, with no aggressive losses or critical areas, maintaining an aesthetically balanced appearance.

The cap opens and closes correctly, with a firm closure and the characteristic 'cling' sound of S.T. Dupont. The ignition system works effectively, producing a stable flame after refilling. The wheel, the flint, and the flame regulator respond adequately.
