Symbolism of the painting: The square shape symbolizes the presence of a civilization in the infinity of the universe.
Biography: Enzo SAN MARCO is a Franco-Italian painter and photographer born on September 10, 1992 in Bari. He pursued academic training in chromatology and the symbolism of forms at the Institute of Fine Arts in Foggia. Solo exhibitions in San Severo, San Giovanni Rotondo, or group exhibitions in Sorrento and Bari. He has been living in the south of France since 2024. For him, art, even abstract, is above all a choice of composition, of shapes and colors, in their opposition and their complementarity. Fascinated by the artistic universe of Mondrian (primary colors), Kandinsky (forms) or Vermeer (composition), he studies the color wheel and considers that each form or color has its own spirituality and that their assembly, infinitely modifiable and random, would be like an alphanumeric code.
In each of his paintings, he tries to create a composition of complementary shapes and colors, giving a sense of movement while breaking lines. Behind the abstraction, symbolism is often hidden.
