Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Two bottles of Dom Pérignon P2 2002 Brut from Champagne, France, each 0.75L, originally in coffret, with fully intact readable labels and neck-fill, estate-bottled, from a warm, ripe 2002 vintage now in Plénitude 2 after about 15 years on lees; Parker 95 points, prime drinking window with potential to lay down for 5–10+ years.
Description from the seller
The 2002 vintage is widely considered one of the finest of the 21st century for Dom Pérignon. It was characterized by a warm, dry spring and a summer with long sunny periods that led to a rare concentration of fruit and exceptional ripeness. Critics have frequently compared its power and structure to the legendary 1990 and 1996 vintages.
In its Plénitude 2 (P2) expression, this wine has undergone nearly 15 years of slow maturation on the lees in the cellars. This extended aging has transformed the vibrant fruit of the original release into a more complex, radiant, and energetic masterpiece with a significantly longer finish and enhanced minerality.
