Description from the seller
Description of the artwork by the artist
For me, 'Invasion' is an organic invasion, not a 'military' one: a plot that grows, repeats, and overlaps until the space is almost completely filled. It isn’t a uniform fill, because inside there are micro-variations and small gaps that make the surface gasp for breath.
And that orange corner is the key point: small, yet incredibly strong. It can be a signal (a light, a warning), or the only part that resists and stays different, like a margin not yet conquered, like an artist who strives to stand out in every gesture, refusing to blend in with the crowd.
I chose to place it in the upper right corner also for a “mental” reason: it is a direction toward which the gaze often rises when one imagines, recalls, or is seeking an image in the head. In this sense, that fragment of color becomes the most free and creative area of the work, a vanishing point that interrupts the invasion of the plot and opens up air.

ARTIST
I am Pietro Fight, a visual artist based in Milan. My research is a “writing of gesture”: sign-calligraphic abstractions in which circular modules and grids of signs create rhythm, density, and breath. I am interested in weight within space, the balance between fullness and emptiness, between accumulation and suspension, between the intensity of the mark and zones of visual silence. This language was born in 2020, during the Covid period, turning the boredom of the repetitive daily routine into construction and variation. Even though the method is repetitive, each work remains unrepeatable, because every circle and every trace is always different.
I offer exclusively original works (no prints), hand-signed and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity with a personalized ink stamp. Careful shipping and availability of photos, videos, and in-depth information upon request.

ARTIST’S DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
To me, Invasion is an organic invasion, not a “military” one: a pattern that grows, repeats, and overlaps until it almost completely fills the space. It isn’t a uniform solid mass, because within it there are micro-variations and small voids that let the surface breathe—almost with difficulty.
And that orange corner is the key point: it’s small, yet extremely powerful. It can be read as a signal (a light, a warning), or as the only area that resists and remains different—like a margin not yet colonised, like an artist who tries to stand out in every gesture and refuses to conform to the crowd.
I also placed it in the upper right for a more “mental” reason: it’s a direction the gaze often drifts toward when we’re imagining, remembering, or searching for an image in our mind. In that sense, that fragment of colour becomes the freest and most creative zone of the work—a vanishing point that interrupts the invasion of the pattern and opens up space.

I’m Pietro Fight, a visual artist based in Milan. My practice is a “writing of the gesture”: abstract, sign-and-calligraphic works in which circular modules and lattices of marks build rhythm, density, and breath. I’m interested in weight in space and in the balance between fullness and emptiness, accumulation and suspension, the intensity of the mark and areas of visual silence. This visual language emerged in 2020, during the Covid period, transforming the boredom of an endlessly repeated daily routine into construction and variation. Although the method is repetitive, each work remains unrepeatable, because every circle and every trace is always different.
