Historical work from the Seventies by Romano Mussolini, oil on panel 20x30 cm, overall with frame 40x50 cm, depicting Imperial Rome in rich colors and an atmosphere typical of the master's painting. The work is certified on the back by the "Studio d'Arte Roma" with original stamps and seals from the era of the Studio D'arte Europea of Cesena. The piece is sold with a contemporaneous frame in excellent condition, overall size

Romano, son of Benito Mussolini and Donna Rachele, was born in Forlì on 26 September 1927.
The Duce's son's passion for painting was born in 1945, when in Naples, under the capable guidance of painters Corrura and Terraccini, he began to paint, thus for his works obtaining flattering results and acclaim in the national and international artistic field.
Romano Mussolini, a versatile artist, works with great seriousness, plays, composes jazz music, writes, but his abiding passion remains painting, as shown by the care with which he creates his works.
In his paintings Romano Mussolini represents the landscape, still life, the abstract dream of the past, his dearest memories, the faces of beautiful women, his clowns, the dancers of the seventies, the gypsy scenes, the carnivals of Venice.
The constant search for new scenarios is the charm, the color and the reality of the palette of Romano Mussolini the Painter.
Romano says that there is nothing more beautiful than living in art with art.
