A masterful photographic portrait by the renowned Italian artist Maria Mulas (Manerba del Garda, 1935-) of Joseph Beuys in 1984, in the context of the refinement of the project “Difesa della Natura” (Defense of Nature), two years before his death.
The photo (C/print) belongs to a edition reserved for the current owner (seller) as a token of friendship with the author, limited to 1 copy, signed and dated (the date refers to the photograph) with the author's stamp on the back (accompanied by the Archivio Maria Mulas' telephone contacts).

The subject has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions by Maria Mulas in Italy and abroad, including the recent major monographic show held in Milan, at Palazzo Reale (19 November 2022–8 January 2023). The catalog documents (Allemandi Editore: the volume is excluded from this sale lot) a reproduction from the same series dedicated to the master of international Conceptual Art.

Shipped without a frame, with a protective sheet on the front, wrapped in bubble wrap, and enclosed in a box made of rigid cellular cardboard.
