Vintage Morris All Gold Les Paul (Nagano, Japan) – 3 Humbuckers
Offered here is a vintage Morris all gold Les Paul, crafted in Nagano, Japan, and fitted with three humbuckers.
The guitar is in played condition with dings and scratches throughout. It’s not a mint piece, but it carries plenty of character and vintage mojo.
Features:
Maple bolt-on neck with a solid hardwood core
Multi-ply binding on the body, neck, and headstock
Gibson-style “open-book” headstock with pearloid diamond inlay and bell-shaped truss rod cover
At the time, Morris was a distributor for Fender and Gibson, giving them access to detailed specs for near-identical reproductions.
Upgrades & Electronics:
Three upgraded wax-potted pickups: two new Wilkinsons plus a presumed Gretsch in the middle position
New pots: three independent volume controls and one master tone control
Mini-toggle switch to engage the middle pickup, unlocking three additional tonal options
