Waterman Ideal No. 0552 ½ LEC fountain pen, gold-filled with a linear engraving pattern, made in the USA in the 1920s, lever-filler with a 14k solid gold nib, 15 cm long and 2 cm in diameter in good used condition.

Waterman’s Ideal No. 0552 ½ LEC – Gold Filled
Magnificent Waterman’s Ideal fountain pen, model 0552 ½ LEC (Linear Engraved Continuous), manufactured in the United States circa the 1920s. This specimen features an exquisite "Gold Filled" finish with a linear engraved pattern that runs along the entire body and cap, maintaining a timeless shine and elegance.
• Technical details: Lateral-lever filling system (Lever Filler) is functional. The body bears the initials "M. E. C." discreetly engraved, dating from the period.
• Nib: Original Waterman 14kt solid gold, fine point, with the brand’s classic inscription and notable flex.
• Condition: Excellent condition for its age, with the legible contrast marks on the base and the iconic "Clip-Cap".
A collectible jewel that combines the engineering of the Golden Era with absolutely luxurious design.
