Lamberto Lamberti (Brescia, 1925–2003) was a Brescia-based painter.
Still very young, he is a pupil of Angelo Landi and Emilio Pasini. He graduates from the Moretto School of Brescia. In the city he is still remembered today as one of Pasini's most promising pupils, and it should also be noted that he participated in several group exhibitions such as the Premio del paesaggio bresciano in 1954, before his move to Milan. In the
In 1955 and 1956 he participates in the Viggiù Prize; he earns a gold medal as promoter of the exhibition “Pro Juventute” set up in 1968 in the Royal Palace in Milan, where he exhibited Mutilatini. Among the solo exhibitions held, those in the Galleries are particularly memorable: “Vittoria” (Brescia, 1942); “Vanni” (Bergamo, 1950); “Bolzani” (Milan, 1952, 1954); “Gussoni” (Milan, 1957, 59-1965, 67); “Accademia” (Milan, 1959, 1969); “Il Vertice” (Milan, 1969); “Centro bresciano d'arte” (Brescia, 1969). Author of landscapes, figures and portraits, he works in the figurative tradition and the predominant vision is that of old and humble houses under skies of a dense and veiled blue, with around some bare trees. This theme is reflected in numerous paintings appreciated by the public and critics. The few portraits seen have warm tones, played on browns, with an accurate likeness: this sometimes to the detriment of the subject’s naturalness, which appears static. Numerous of his works are scattered in Brescia homes, even if he now rarely exhibits in his native city.
With a certificate of lawful provenance in accordance with the law.
The frame is included as a kind gift, an additional element to the artwork we provide as a courtesy. Therefore, no claims will be accepted regarding possible transport damages (which are very rare) that may occur solely to the frame. Our artworks are shipped in complete safety with protective and professional packaging, and insured shipments.
