The Caperdonich 21 year old presented here is a limited edition from 2019 marked as Batch CA/003. The whisky comes from first-fill bourbon casks. Caperdonich produced single malts as well as whiskies used in Chivas blends. The distillery ceased operations in 2002 and was demolished in 2011, marking the end of its physical presence in the whisky world. This is undoubtedly one of the last official releases from this distillery, and is part of the Unpeated range of the Secret Speyside collection.
