Description :
This black-and-white photograph, taken by Ben Dauchez at the Cap, captures the essence of urban ruins through a poignant composition of abandoned objects. The image highlights a crushed beer can and a twisted piece of metal, laid on a rough ground scattered with debris. The stark contrasts and rough textures of the photograph emphasize the raw, ephemeral beauty of the traces left by human activity.

Black and white photograph
Capture the essence of the urban environment.
An ideal work for enthusiasts of contemporary art and urban photography.
This unique piece by Ben Dauchez is a valuable addition to any art collection, offering an introspective glimpse into the hidden beauty of urban landscapes. This matte fine-art photograph, in a square format of 60x90 cm,
The photographic technique employed creates a nearly painterly effect, where the zones of shadow and light blend harmoniously. The deep black background contrasts magnificently with the touches of blue light, giving the work a dimension that is both contemporary and timeless.
The proposed matte fine art print will particularly highlight the gentle transitions and the subtlety of the nuances, offering a refined visual experience. This work fits perfectly into the tradition of contemporary artistic photography.

A certificate will be provided.

A photography enthusiast since his youth, Ben DAUCHEZ began in the neighborhood studios of La Rochelle. There he learned all the basics of photography, from classical technique to shooting and retouching, including the darkroom. At 22, freshly graduated, he moved to Paris to perfect his training by becoming a on-set assistant for the Daguerre, Le Petit Oiseau va sortir, and Studio Zéro studios. He had the opportunity to collaborate with and assist the most talented photographers: Bettina RHEIMS, Patrick DEMARCHELIER, Terry RICHARDSON, Ellen VON UNWERTH, Marcus MAM... From some decisive meetings were born splendid projects and long collaborations, in particular with André RAU, Bettina RHEIMS (the Sulphurea exhibition by INRI and her eponymous book at Editions Albin Michel) and Peter BEARD (Pirelli 2009 calendar in Botswana).
His photos are published, among others, in Editions Condé Nast (French and international), Première, WallPaper, ID, Madame Figaro, Lifestyles, Dandy Magazine... His universe also interests brands with very different identity codes for which he has signed the creation of institutional and/or advertising campaigns such as Dior (beauty), L'Oréal, Peugeot, Philip Morris or Burger King (advertising awarded at the Dubai Lynx).

Ben DAUCHEZ has also created numerous portraits of celebrities (IGGY POP, Woody HALLEN, Grace JONES, Jean DUJARDIN, Gilles LELLOUCHE, Olivier MARCHAL, Carole BOUQUET, Charlotte GAINSBOURG, ...), beauties, men of the world (Olivier DASSAULT, Jacques SEGUELA ...) and travelers...
This photographic approach has since allowed him to freely capture the human, aesthetic, and spiritual beauty of every individual.
