Based on the iconic Flip Arm gasoline lighters from the 1930s, Dunhill in the 1990s launched a new line to the market: Unique. These lighters ran on butane and had an adjustable flame, but retained the charm and quality of their predecessors.

The lighter sits smoothly in the hand—you almost forget that it’s a table lighter. The lighter isn’t heavy or bulky. It’s easy to operate with just one hand. That was also the innovation of the flip arm and the marketing slogan of this type of lighter in the 1930s. With conviction I can say that this is probably the most ergonomic table lighter ever produced.
