These objects, conceived as memorabilia, were sold by the artist to fund his own projects.
The 'Floating Piers' were a spectacular artistic project by artist Christo, carried out in 2016 on Lake Iseo in Italy. It was a 3-kilometer walkable bridge, made of golden fabric, connecting the shore to the lake's islands. Visitors could explore the project on foot and experience the natural environment in a completely new way. "The Floating Piers" was an exceptional example of Christo's ability to blur the boundaries between art and nature and to alter the perception of landscapes.
