Octomore Edition 07.1 – Scottish Barley, a 5-year-old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 59.5% ABV in a 700 ml bottle with original packaging.
Description from the seller
Octomore 7.1 dates back to 1881, when the Bruichladdich distillery was founded on the small Hebridean island of Islay. Over the years, a whisky culture of the highest quality developed there. When it comes to raw materials, the experts rely almost entirely on regional products from the island: peat and locally grown barley give Bruichladdich whiskies their special flavor, which is so highly prized by connoisseurs.
This is also the case with Bruichladdich Octomore 7.1, a very high-quality and flavorful whisky. Brewed from Scottish barley and matured in barrels from various American whisky brands, this fine spirit delights the palate of discerning connoisseurs.
Octomore 7.1 – exclusive single malt
Connoisseurs will truly enjoy Octomore 7.1. It is no coincidence that this single malt is limited to 30,000 bottles, which the distillery releases worldwide each year – an appropriate restriction given its high quality. It is a must-have for any discerning collection.
Despite its relatively high alcohol content of 59.4% by volume, Bruichladdich Octomore 7.1 is a delicious and invigorating companion – whether with a meal or in the evening for relaxation.
Peat and fruit
The first impression brings a play of vanilla, peat, and citrus aromas, accompanied by a slight hint of salt and caramel, followed by a fruity combination of peach and pear that pleasantly caresses the palate with its softness and sweetness.
The Octomore 7.1 whisky also has a peaty, smoky finish, with the fruity notes remaining throughout. Finally, this single malt surprises with a salty-sweet oak aftertaste.
