Henri van Os-Delhez, Stilleven, an oil painting on canvas from the Netherlands, dating to 1900–1910, in a classical style, hand-signed, original edition, in good condition, framed with dimensions 72 by 60 cm.

Henri van Os-Delhez (1880-1976) - Still life - Oil on canvas.
Canvas size 55 x 44 cm, and the size in this frame is 72 x 60 cm – the antique frame is no longer mom's favorite.
With a little light, the painting really comes into its own.
Henri van Os-Delhez was born on 20 October 1880 in Nieuwer-Amstel.
Originally he was trained as a decorator and attended the Ambachtschool and the Tekenschool for Arts and Crafts in Amsterdam.
Here he received his first distinction.
The well-known landscape painter A.M. Gorter also taught him for some time.
He designed, on the occasion of the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Wilhelmina, the decorations of Vijzelstraat in Amsterdam.
Later at Hotel Hamdorff the carnivals 'Sous les toits de Paris' and 'Carnaval in the Palace of Neptunis'.
Van Os-Delhez painted cityscapes, landscapes, and interiors, but preferred flowers and still lifes.
He also worked in Paris.
He was a member of the art associations Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam, the Gooische painters' association in Laren,
St. Lucas and the Independents.

Two submitted works were chosen for an exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels and a third for a
exhibition at the Municipal Museum in Arnhem.
