Description from the seller

Photogravure titled Holds the Eagle – Hidatsa, created from a photograph by Edward S. Curtis and originally protected by copyright in 1908. The work shows a portrait of Holds the Eagle, a man of the Hidatsa tribe, photographed as part of Curtis’ extensive documentation of the Indigenous peoples of North America.
