Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Waterman Le Man 100 fountain pen with a plastic body and gold-plated details, an 18k gold nib, made in France in the mid-20th century, in good used condition and in working order, 14.3 cm long.
Description from the seller
A0000003246
The fountain pen is in very good condition, maintaining an excellent overall appearance both aesthetically and functionally.
The body and the cap in black lacquer display a deep, even shine, with slight superficial micro-signs only noticeable under close inspection and direct light, entirely consistent with careful use and the piece's age. No cracks, dents, or deformations are observed.
The golden elements—the clip, the central ring engraved WATERMAN PARIS, and the end-cap details—maintain a clean, well-defined gold finish, with minimal wear and no significant loss of plating. The engravings remain sharp and perfectly legible.
The 18-karat solid gold nib is in very good condition, with proper alignment of the nib tines, the tip well preserved, and clear markings. The feed is intact and in good structural condition.
Overall, it is a very well-preserved, elegant specimen that fully represents the high level of quality of the Waterman Le Man 100 line, ideal for both collection and regular use.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for its proper preservation.
