Caroline Burnett, born in the United States in 1877 and died in 1950, was an American painter who spent the first part of her artistic career in Paris, namely between the late 1800s and the early 1900s.
A member of the Société des Beaux-Arts de Paris, she exhibited her works at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1898. La Burnett was known for her impressionist paintings of Parisian streets that displayed hints of abstract influence, especially in her figurative works. Thanks to her skill with light and shadow, she was able to create urban landscapes that represent all seasons of Paris.
