Parker Sonnet fountain pen, made of resin/polyester with gold plating on the clip and band, 18K gold nib, 13.3 cm long and 1 cm in diameter, originating from France and dated to 2000–2010, in good used condition and fully functional, supplied in a courtesy box.
Description from the seller
A0000003401
This Parker Sonnet fountain pen is in very good condition, showing a balanced combination of aesthetic care and proper functioning.
The body and the cap, with a dark lacquered finish and a grid-like geometric pattern, retain a uniform and well-defined appearance, with sharp lines and good contrast. In the light, very faint superficial signs can be seen, typical of moderate and careful use, with no dents, cracks, or material loss.
The gold-plated elements—the arrow-shaped clip and the central ring engraved "PARKER"—are well preserved, maintaining shine and definition, with minimal wear and uniform in keeping with the piece's age.
The 18K gold nib (750) is in good condition, with aligned tips, no deformations or visible damage. It shows a light natural patina from use, fully preserving its functionality and offering smooth and steady writing. The feed is intact and clean.
The cap closure fits properly, and the overall assembly conveys a solid, well-balanced feel in the hand.
All in all, it is a very well-made pen, fully functional and aesthetically appealing, suitable both for high-quality daily writing and for inclusion in a Parker collection.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for its proper preservation.
