Takero Amano was immersed in the art world from an early age. His father, Yoshitaka Amano, was an internationally renowned illustrator. Upon returning from New York, his newfound influences from the Big Apple blended with Japanese pop culture, and he gradually developed his own style.
Playing between classicism and modernity in his creations, Takeru Amaro combines precision of line with an explosive color palette taken from pop culture.
His works have been part of numerous solo and group exhibitions, particularly in Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
