Description from the seller

Inkjet printing on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 g/m²
Photo dimensions: 20x30 cm
Passe-partout dimensions in white cardboard 40x50, edition 2/9

Giuseppe Palmisano was born on November 4 in Ceglie Messapica, a small town in Apulia.
Growing up among flour and traditions and coming into contact with art as a teenager, I began doing theater and clowning. All of this, together with a strong fascination for symbols, aesthetics, and set design, pushed me to buy a camera and to start probing the relationship between people and the space surrounding them.
In 2009 he moves to Rome, where he begins to work for a theatre company. In the following years he changes about thirty homes and I have lived in ten different cities.
In 2012 I began a new photographic exploration based on the figure of the woman, seen as the ultimate expression of nature. The role — and the image — of the woman has always been central in my work, and my aim is to strip that image of its intrinsic eroticism.
From here, iosonopipo was born.
In 2019 I decided to sell the artistic identity of iosonopipo on a well-known auction site. It was bought by Francesco R. After three years the archive was purchased by Mario Mondaini Studio and Giuseppe returns to directing it to continue investigating the identity, to use it as a meeting between people, as a liberating and cathartic moment. He currently lives in Milan.
