Sebastiano Plutino presents Il mio mare, a 2026 original acrylic painting on canvas (50 x 35 cm) depicting a marine landscape, hand-signed with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Marina, acrylic on canvas 35x50, a unique piece painted entirely by hand by the artist Sebastiano Plutino. Certificate of authenticity with the artist's signature and stamp.
Sebastiano Plutino (Reggio Calabria, June 20, 1973) is an Italian painter and contemporary artist.
After studying at the 'Liceo Artistico “Mattia Preti” di Reggio Calabria,' he dedicated himself entirely to painting, developing a personal style that combines figurative and informal elements.
His work is characterized by a particular sensitivity towards the sea, nature, and Mediterranean culture: his 'marine' evoke contemplative atmospheres, often dominated by bright skies, wide horizons, and constantly moving waters, in a painting that conveys suggestion and introspection.
Alongside marine subjects, Plutino creates portraits — often of female figures — and informal landscapes, using oils, enamels, and acrylics on board or MDF, with bold brushstrokes and dense, meaningful color layers.
Her career includes numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad: her works have been displayed in galleries such as Galleria ArteToma (Reggio Calabria), OnArt Gallery (Florence), Galleria Serraino (Reggio Calabria), and at events like ArtePadova and PaviArt.
