Jaume Icart Sampere (Granollers, 1917–2015) was a self-taught Catalan painter and draughtsman, influenced by master Vicente Albarranch.

Born in Granollers, he combined painting with teaching in local schools and academies. He exhibited in cities such as Barcelona, Mataró, Sabadell and outside Catalonia (Madrid, France), winning awards such as the Maspons (1954, 1956).

He distinguished himself in rainy landscapes, seascapes, and markets with a palette-knife technique, grayish tones, and impressionist atmospheric effects. His work evokes Vallès landscapes and everyday Catalan scenes.
