Pratt, Hugo - 1 Silkscreen - Corto Maltese - Tango - 1986

The 12 screenprints of "Tango" were commissioned to Hugo Pratt and produced for Editori del Grifo, between late 1985 and early 1986, on the occasion of his retrospective at the Grand Palais in Paris.
Pratt oversaw the process with a screen printer in Rome, and all signatures were affixed by Pratt in person in the presence of the publisher.
The 12 screenprints are originally drawn by Hugo Pratt in full-size pencil.
The edition comprises 250 copies in Arabic numerals and 50 in Roman numerals; about twenty copies printed as a reserve are artist's proofs (P.A.).
The copy for sale is indeed part of the P.A. edition.
