Waterman 42 fountain pen in 18k gold laminate, made in the United States, dating to the early 20th century, 12 cm long with a 13 mm diameter, in good used condition with minor signs of age and stains, in working order, featuring ornate cap and body work with Medusa relief on the cap and a boxer in relief, two Pompeian-style anchors on the barrel, a 14k gold nib with a heart-shaped hole, and a mobile clip likely replacing the original, with non-coeval decoration between the body and cap.
