Over more than 40 years, Jovan has sold his works worldwide to individuals, art collectors, and businesses. Throughout his long artistic career, he has been exhibited at various art fairs. Jovan works seven days a week in his own studio/gallery in the Netherlands.
From the chaos of ideas that rose in my mind, from the stolen inner energy, I want it, like a volcano, to burst forth and become an explosion, a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed by matter, by shapes, by faces—or by an abstract composition.
From the unconscious, there often arises a chaotic and explosive application of painting on the canvas: at first, figures, objects, portraits, or an unplanned abstract composition. Just as in the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growth, the shaping of personality and life. Often conceived unexpectedly, we are born, we grow, and we are all framed within our body, our frame, but each is unique in its own way.
