Description from the seller
Luc Deleu – Mobile Medium University Revisited (Floating U.I.A.) (1989)
From the folder UA Art Edition 2
This work by the Belgian artist, architect and urban planner Luc Deleu was published in 1989 as part of the UA Kunsteditie 2 series. Deleu is internationally known for his visionary and utopian-urbanist projects in which architecture, mobility and social organization are central.
Mobile Medium University Revisited (Floating U.I.A.) is closely aligned with his research into mobile and modular urban structures. The work documents a conceptual architectural project in which scale, infrastructure, and international institutions are examined — characteristic of Deleu’s practice from the 1980s.
The offered copy is a Hors Commerce (H.C.) print, designated as I/XX. H.C. editions were not intended for regular sale and are typically rarer than the numbered edition, which increases the collectible value. Within the context of Belgian conceptual and architectural art from the late 1980s, this is an interesting collectible.
