Doukabin Hanaakari 銅花瓶 花あかり(どうかびん はなあかり)|Hasegawa Gasen 長谷川雅山(はせがわ がせん) This copper vase titled “Doukabin Hanaakari” was created by Hasegawa Gasen. The artist is associated with the traditional foundry workshop “Gasen” in Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture, a workshop that has continued since the Edo period. He comes from a family of Nitten artists spanning three generations.
