Mimmo Paladino (1948) - Mathematica 2

Mimmo Paladino, an Italian artist born in 1948, is a historic leader of the Transavanguardia. An important international artistic movement that emerged in the 1980s of the twentieth century, theorized by Achille Bonito Oliva.

The work is an aquaforte aquatint from 2001, published in the first catalog raisonné of Mimmo Paladino’s graphic work, curated by Enzo Di Martino.

The Mathematica folder is also preserved in the Pinacoteca Metropolitana di Bari since 2018, to indicate and underscore the great importance of this etching by Master Paladino.

The provenance of the work is from the Grafica Manzoni gallery, which issues its certificate of authenticity.
