Description from the seller
ERIC LESPINASSE's Artwork — A Limited Edition of 02/30.
Extremely rare artwork: limited edition of 30 copies worldwide.
Title of the work: #2 - Parisian Cabaret
Fine Art print without white border on Hahnemühle paper — from the 2026 series « Parisian Cabaret ».
Original photograph from the artist's workshop by Eric Lespinasse.
Elegance, modernity and high quality are the words that best define the finish of this piece.
Presentation of the Work:
This photographic series resurrects the world of Parisian cabarets and music halls of the Belle Époque with a captivating sensuality, where burlesque and the art of performance merged into a flamboyant celebration of liberated femininity. Plunged into theatrical backstage settings — crimson velvet curtains, flickering chandeliers, stage ropes, and smoky atmospheres — the compositions bathe in warm, dramatic light that evokes both Toulouse-Lautrec and contemporary fashion photography. The costumes — corsets sculpted in pink, cream or rust silk with lace ruffles, night-blue bustiers with gold embroidery — are treated with couture-level precision that magnifies the art of lingerie-costume as an expression of power and confident seduction. Each gaze into the camera tells the story of a woman aware of her stage power, neither victim nor object but a sovereign artist of her own representation. This series pays homage to the great figures of Parisian popular entertainment, to those women who made the stage their territory of absolute freedom.
