Description from the seller

ERIC LESPINASSE Artwork — Edition 02/30.
Extremely rare piece: limited edition of 30 copies worldwide.
Title of the work: #1 - Rooftops of Melancholy
Fine Art print with no white border on Hahnemühle paper — from the series “Rooftops of Melancholy” 2026.
Original photograph from the artist’s studio by Eric Lespinasse.

Elegance, modernity and high quality are the words that best define the finish of this artwork.

Presentation of the Artwork:
In the series “Rooftops of Melancholy,” Éric Lespinasse elevates the gaze towards the rooftops as one seeks refuge in silence — these urban heights become territories of soft solitude, suspended between sky and city. The light is gray or golden depending on the hour, but always tinged with a quiet nostalgia, that of late afternoons when time seems to stretch for no reason. Chimneys, zinc rooftops, forgotten antennas compose an intimate geography that one recognizes without having truly inhabited it.

Destination:
Whether you’re an individual, a professional, a collector or enthusiast, this artwork is for you. Ready to infuse a remarkable touch to your interior, your office, a waiting room, or a restaurant? Treat yourself to a timeless and singular work that will surely elevate any environment.
Breathe life into your walls!

Artwork Details:
Fine Art print with no white border on Hahnemühle “fine art” 200 g paper, for a refined touch, a matte finish and a smooth surface.

Handle with cotton gloves and dust with a soft brush or microfiber cloth to avoid damage.
Dimensions: 45 x 60 cm
Year of production: 2026
Artwork LIMITED EDITION 02/30 numbered and hand-signed by the artist on the back of the piece.

Seller's Story

Born in 1974, Eric Lespinasse is an established French artist based in Paris. His work can be found in numerous private collections around the world, as well as in a multitude of professional premises (restaurants, medical practices, cinemas, real estate agencies, kitchen shops, tattoo parlors, etc.). A photographer for 25 years, he is also a painter and digital designer. His works are known for their character, where the incidence of light makes them almost painterly. They are a skilful blend of poetry and homage to the world and the human being. His technique is a combination of traditional photography and digital image editing. This combination enables her to create unique, emotionally engaging works of art that faithfully represent her vision, influences and sensitivity. The role of any photographer is to capture and deliver to the public an emotional panel of each moment he captures. This is how he came to create "photographic poetry", where each of his delicate, poetic images projects you into the art and culture of the ephemeral world around us, frozen for eternity, transforming the evanescent moment into a timeless work of witness. It's with this same sensitivity and heart that he invests each of his creations, in all artistic fields, from photography to the creation of digital works.
