Description from the seller
Size 30x45 cm
Printed on satin fine art paper (270 g/m²) using Epson UltraChrome HD inks, it guarantees exceptional durability and richness of tones.
Hand-signed on the back with the author's stamp
"Light Touch" is part of a research project on intimacy and the feminine that the author has been pursuing for 10 years. A portion of the work has been published in the projects "Bold Body" and "Lines", printed in booklet format and in limited editions.
Emiliano Picciolo trained in Photography and Graphic Design at an Artistic High School, starting his career specializing in portrait photography and commercial still life.
In 2019 he received a special mention at the European PhotoVue competition (held in the Netherlands and promoted by BenQ) for his portrait work, an acknowledgment that highlighted his refined artistic vision.
His research focuses on artistic nude, a genre he defines as “humanscape photography.”
His work stands out for a particular attention to contrasts and the dialogue between fullness and emptiness, creating geometries and points of light shaped by natural light—his main source of inspiration and subject of study in daily life. He favors black and white and integrates digital and analog techniques to give form to his vision.
In 2021 he founded Mellor’s Studio, a visual arts laboratory, where he developed commercial projects and presented his works in a permanent exhibition. Parallel to his professional activity, Emiliano is deeply involved in education, regularly teaching photography, editing, and fine-art printing techniques.
