LA ENSOÑACIÓN is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. In this painting, everyday objects float in a space where logic has been suspended. A plate decorated with floral motifs holds two intensely red tomatoes; a fork rests on the edge as if it still belonged to the real world. However, the whole thing rises on a blue geometric block, surrounded by clouds and silent architecture.

The composition combines still life and metaphysical landscape. The volumes are clear, defined, almost sculptural.
