AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Title: Floral Still Life

School: European School (20th century)

Style: Late Impressionist / Floral Naturalism

Technique: Oil on canvas:

Magnificent floral still life with a wide and dynamic composition, where an exuberant arrangement of flowers sits on a table partly covered with a cloth in greenish tones. On the left a lush bouquet rises in a vase, while to the right the flowers spread horizontally in a looser and more spontaneous display, creating a sense of movement and depth.

The color palette combines coral tones, nacreous whites, intense blues, and vibrant yellows, contrasting with a neutral gray background that enhances the luminosity of the ensemble. The brushwork is loose, visible and gestural, especially in the petals and in the treatment of the foliage, which recalls an impressionist sensibility. The artist works the lights with quick and impasto touches, achieving texture and volume without losing compositional freshness.

The scene conveys naturalness and elegance, with an asymmetrical composition carefully balanced that provides dynamism and visual sophistication.

The work is framed in a carved gilded wooden frame, with classical moulding and peripheral relief decoration. The golden finish presents a warm tone that harmonizes with the floral colors and enhances the decorative character of the ensemble. Traditional-style frame, suitable for the artwork’s aesthetics.

The frame comes as a gift. It may show damage during transport even with proper packaging.

Dimensions:

With frame: 91 x 125.8 cm

Without frame: 81 x 116.5 cm

Notes:
Artwork in generally good condition consistent with its age.

Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge due to causes such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this surcharge.

Due to issues at the Switzerland border we are obliged to inform that shipments longer than 1 meter in length or height to that destination will not be made.

The artworks are shipped without insurance and, if transport insurance is desired, it must be requested beforehand by private message. If not requested, we will not be responsible for damages that may have occurred during transport.
