Description from the seller
Bengez Miljenko was born in Zagreb in 1954. He studied at the Academy of Arts in his city, focusing on painting and later also on art restoration, working on the maintenance and reconstruction of some of the most important Italian works of the past. His mature style reflects his scholarly nature, tempered by an explicit will to entertain. His mature body of work is, in fact, very personal, fresh and colorful in its immediacy, cultivated and wise in its use of past influences. His works are in numerous private art collections in Europe, the United States, and Japan.
His works recall the European lyrical tradition, blending it with Cubism, Expressionism, and Tachisme.
This is one of his screen prints, more precisely it is an Artist's Proof as indicated below. It has stains along the edge of the matting due to age, but nothing serious.
It will be shipped, packed and protected.
