Description from the seller
Interesting set consisting of two brass compasses with strong visual impact, both functional and complete, ideal for collectors of nautical and military instruments or as refined maritime-themed decorative items.
The first item is an original decorative naval telegraph crafted in brass and teak, inside which a miniature compass is perfectly functional with a diameter of about 5 cm. The telegraph structure has a base of about 6.5 cm x 6.5 cm and a total height of about 17 cm. A striking piece that immediately evokes the traditional navigation environment.
The second item is a military belt compass in brass, also functioning, complete with its elegant teak case, brass mouldings, and adorned with an anchor. The compass has a diameter of about 6 cm, while the wooden box measures about 11 cm x 8 cm x 5 cm. A compact, sturdy instrument with a strong aesthetic character.
Both pieces combine functionality and decorative value, particularly dramatic when displayed in a study, library, or nautical-themed environment.
