Description from the seller
Parker Duofold Junior "Lapis Lazuli" – Made in Canada – Circa 1930
Exquisite Parker Duofold fountain pen, Junior model, manufactured in Toronto, Canada, in the late 1920s or early 1930s.
This specimen stands out for its iconic Lapis Lazuli celluloid finish (blue swirled with white specks), one of the most sought-after colors by collectors of the "Big Red" era.
Details of the item:
• Barrel and Cap: Deep blue celluloid with a well-preserved marbled pattern. It bears the original factory imprint on the body, clearly legible: "Geo. S. Parker Duofold Jr. Fountain Pen - Toronto - Canada".
• Nib: Original 14K gold with the inscription "Parker Lucky Curve Pen 2".
• Ornamentation: Gold-plated ball clip with the Parker brand engraved and double-band on the cap (Double Band).
• Filling system: Button filler (needs servicing to ensure its current operational function, given its age).
