Figurative composition with multiple presences, arranged on a vertical structure that foregrounds a female figure with half-closed eyes, flanked by a male figure in a lowered position and by further barely suggested faces in the background. The whole is built through a soft and synthetic line, with broad areas in warm ochre and brown tones, which gives the work a gathered and suspended atmosphere.

The chromatic execution in monochrome, played with glazes and light overlays, emphasizes the more intimate and spontaneous dimension of the artist's research, heightening its expressive synthesis and emotional tension.

The work belongs to the nucleus of ephemeral pieces realized during a solo exhibition of the artist at a privately run family gallery, now no longer active. It is one of the sketches produced in the exhibition context, direct testimony of Squillantini's creative process in a setting of immediate interaction with the public.

At the bottom there is the autograph inscription “Personale di R. Squillantini”.

Condition: generally good condition; there are light signs and faint traces of handling on the back, compatible with the age and the nature of the paper support.
