Historical description
The 1960 Series represents one of the longest-lived and most distinctive lines in Brebbia’s production. Founded in 1953 by Enea Buzzi, the Brebbia workshop is one of Italy’s historic independent realities, known for its high level of internal artisanal craftsmanship and for using high-quality aged briar.
The “Golden Extra” line identifies a superior selection of briar within the 1960 Series: blocks with pronounced flame and no structural defects were chosen, finished with a bright polish and often completed by a metal ferrule.
Shape 6006 is a classic Italian bent shape of medium size, with balanced proportions, a generous chamber, and excellent ergonomics. It is a form highly appreciated for slow, regular smokes.
Production estimated between the 1980s and early 1990s.
