Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Japanese origin Vanishing Point fountain pen with a plastic body and stainless steel components, 141 mm long and 13 mm in diameter, 14K gold nib, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
A0000003463
The fountain pen is in excellent overall condition, showing evident care and very moderate use.
The lacquered body in bright red maintains a uniform finish, deep and with a high level of shine. No dents, cracks, or lacquer loss are apparent. At first glance only very light superficial micro-scratches can be observed, typical of careful handling and virtually imperceptible at normal usage distance.
The gold-plated metal elements — clip, push button, central ring and front section — present an intense, uniform shine. No plating losses or significant wear are observed. Only extremely light surface marks can be seen under direct light, normal on a used piece, but in no way affecting its aesthetics.
The retractable mechanism functions correctly: the push button operates with firmness and precision, with secure closure and proper alignment. The inner shutter seals the nib properly.
The 14K gold nib is in very good condition, with no deformations or visible alterations. The tines are correctly aligned, and the tip retains its original geometry. No structural damage is observed.
It has no personalizations or engravings.
Overall, this is a very well-preserved example, with minimal and normal signs of use, ideal for both a collection and demanding daily use.
Happy bidding!
