In this painting on a textured base the artist has drawn many colored shades that open in the present but are directed toward an open mind, inviting the viewer to discover in the painting the colors that appear and fade in a harmonious whole and then open upward in search of a sublime space.

Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and since 1980 has worked in fashion and art. From 1999 he began to exhibit his works; in 2002 his first solo exhibition in Padua, followed by many shows in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
