Nino Caffè (1908-1975) - Lenzuola al vento

Unique work by Nino Caffè, nicknamed the "painter of the little priests".. (1909 Alfadena(AQ) - 1975 Pesaro)
In addition to painting, he equally succeeded in engraving.
His work is appreciated by the leading European and American collectors, consecrating the painter "of the little priests" to international fame.
An oil on canvas from 1953 measuring 20 x 30 cm (48 x 38 cm with frame).
Signed bottom center "n.Caffe'" and on the back signed and dated: "n.Caffe' 1953". Title: Lenzuola al vento.
Paintings on canvas with signature n.Caffe' on the front and with signature and date on the back are fairly difficult to find on the market, because since the 1960s most works are on panel and the maestro signed only on the front with the surname "Caffe"! moreover I purchased it directly from the estate’s attorney who provided me with a signed certificate of authenticity and legitimate provenance, with a dedication to me, written in his own hand!, and adding another signature beside, stating that the painting comes from the Caffe family..(see attached declaration).
The work comes with:
1) Archival Certificate, signed, on a black-and-white photo, with on the reverse a label bearing the archive number: G/2083 GB, the description of the work; and the archive’s signature;
2) Copy of the declaration of authenticity and rightful provenance, signed, directly from the archive’s procurator Dr. Giorgio BORGHI.
