In this painting on a textured base the artist has drawn many colored nuances that then open up and fade, creating zones of light and others of shadow. The color bands are multiple and with small inserts of contrasting colors that recall Iris, the Goddess of colors.

Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in design and since 1980 has worked in the fields of fashion and art. Since 1999 he has begun to exhibit his works; in 2002 his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
