Hello, this week I am offering for sale this magnificent lacquered Cartier lighter, belonging to the “tortoiseshell” family, iconic style of Cartier luxury objects from the 1970s to the 1990s. An elegant, timeless model and particularly appreciated by collectors.
The body is in 18k gold plating, 20 microns, and is in excellent condition; please refer to the photos. True to the know-how and standards of Cartier, this lighter stands out for its refined finish and its iconic aesthetics.
It is in perfect working order: bright and steady ignition, stable flame and perfectly adjusted. The wheel has been lubricated with Moebius watch oil for smooth ignition, and the interior has been fully cleaned. It remains “unpolished” in order to retain a more authentic and original look.
The lacquer shows neither shine nor chipping, only light micro-scratches visible under certain light, as shown in the photos. They are not deep, thus only minimally noticeable, and do not detract from its charm or elegance.
